I bought it based on all the good reviews I have thick wavy hair. He can't even keep my hair in a messy bun (used a regular thick black ponytail band as the base, wrapped it around and secured with a coil spring). It fell out every time. It's also terrible for gym use, I made the mistake of throwing my hair into a pony (not even a big, regular headed pony) with it. Within five minutes of a simple cardio workout on the elliptical, my hair was limp and clinging to me. They also stretched a lot. Save money and buy regular rolls - many packs have slightly more than these for the same price.
