I have hardwood floors in my bedroom and recently applied a coat of varnish which looks shiny and beautiful. Unfortunately, the bed now slides ridiculously easily even with the 2 1/4 inch casters locked. They don't roll, they just slide sideways on a smooth surface. They are glued to a plastic sheet that keeps the bottom intact. I scrubbed the floor where the plugs should have been and carefully placed them. Wow! The smooth silicone sticks to the floor and now the bed appears to be bolted to the floor.
