Good product at a fair price

I'm 5'11" tall, weigh 174 lbs and have a semi-athletic build. I asked for a size larger that would fit me but feel like I should could request a medium size and make it a bit tighter on my body so I can use it as intended: a padded one under regular clothes I can still but feel a little uncomfortable to warm a person in cold weather.
