This can be a limitation on some phones, I wouldn't say my phone is that big. I have an Lg Stylo 3 and had to remove the case to use the tripod. In general I can say that the purchase is not bad, especially for the money. It has a pretty solid base and structure. I am mostly satisfied with the purchase. I would add that I wish the swivel was a little stiffer or a little less weak. I would still recommend it.
