I think it's more brown than burgundy as you can see by comparing it to my dark Carhartt Mulberry coat. I had a flash so you can see the color difference. No flash, much darker. Also, it's perfect for what I want to use it for. Holds my glasses in a soft case, power bank, required power bank cables, skin stick, my cards, eye drops, vape liquid and my wireless headphones. When I'm on the trails I can put it on my hips, when I'm following my husband I can wear it as a bandage on my chest or back. Everything is secure and I don't have to worry about the latch coming loose.
