I've used several of these over the past year and they're useful, with caveats. If you need to splice or extend a low voltage line, they're fine. However, you cannot skip two lines; it only accepts one line of input and one line of output. I drilled a hole in the side and unplugged the other box to remove the third wire. The box is also very small and fits snugly if you use the regular connectors instead of the ones that come with it. The screws are also very tight, and even the new Phillips nozzle is difficult to operate without damaging the soft heads.
