Review on 🌡️ Fluke 971 Temperature and Humidity Meter by Kyle Smithlin

Works well. Accuracy is within approximately 2% relative humidity compared to an atmosphere of known relative humidity. The device is very sensitive and changes quickly even if you breathe too close to the sensor. The instrument appears to have been modified from the original 971. The newer 971 doesn't have a touch shutter. In a way, this change is better because if you forget to pop the shutter, you'll still get a reading, but there's little chance that reading is right. I keep my 971 rolled up in a small plastic bag to protect the sensor. The device is supplied with batteries installed. Batteries appear to be of good quality. Overall, this device is more than reliable enough for HVAC applications.
