i-RuiQi Micro Screwdriver Set (Top Quality!)

The i-RuiQi Screwdriver Set I received surprised me because it was a much higher quality, precise Spare screwdriver set included than I ever expected, especially at this price! Please note that I have included some close-up photos of these screwdrivers to help you see and understand the level of quality in this set. The i-RuiQi Screwdriver Set contains 48 neatly stacked screwdrivers. in every row. Each row contains six screwdrivers and one of seven hex sockets from 2.5 to 5.5. However, the Philips screwdriver range includes a "Philips" 2.0 connector, which I can only describe as an "inverted Phillips screwdriver". Flat Lag Screws to Box Head Screws and a wide range of each. However, I can never recall ever seeing a mounting screw or bolt that required a Philips head socket. !I looked at each screwdriver with a strong magnifying glass and compared it to several small screwdriver sets I already have. The i-RuiQi screwdriver set was superior in every way to any set I have owned. Under a magnifying glass (see macro shots) I could not identify any burrs or ridges in the molding process. Everything seems to be done very neatly and I did not find any flaws. The advertisement provides a summary of the styles and sizes of screwdrivers in the set, so I will not include that information in this review. I will say rest assured that the dimensions cover many of the micro screws and bolts I have used. I have work experience before. Along with 48 screwdrivers and 8 sockets, a very well made 5" Flex Drive extension (to avoid parts that might block direct access) and a straight 2" extension are included. The i-RuiQi screwdriver handle (like all extensions) has a magnetic insert on the end of the socket (and handle sleeve) to make it easier to insert the bit. The shank of each bit and extension is a 5/32" (3.95mm) hex. The handle has a collapsible collet that tightens on a hex shank when you turn the "cartridge-like" handle tip clockwise. The handle also has an 11/64 inch diameter hole that can be used for a hanging strap. on the tool bolt. i-RuiQi thought of everything when creating this set! They added a 2" long "torque" designed to "loosen" stubborn over-tightened fasteners. A torque screwdriver can accept the same bits and extensions as a screwdriver handle. However, the torque screwdriver shaft must be turned ¼" with a wrench or socket; it will not fit in the drive handle collet. This will prevent you from possibly applying too much torque to the power grip collet system which can certainly be damaged with that much force. I can say that this kit is suitable and even a "must have" if you want to work with your DSLR, glasses, tablet, etc. You can bet it's just as useful for repairing cell phones and watches. I build my own desktops and I think most of these drivers are too small for this application. They are so small! (See scale comparison photos). Choosing i-RuiQi (S2) steel is definitely not the cheapest choice for making such a tool. Carbon steel 1050 is a very low cost material with relatively low heat treatment temperature requirements. Some of you may have experienced the quality level of 1050 carbon steel tools if you have ever purchased standard size pliers and/or screwdrivers from your store. local dollar or grocery store. Even I had to buy a small set of 3/8 socket wrenches from the grocery store to fix my car while I was out of town. Yes, a set of sockets was enough for me to get the job done before the ratchet gears snapped and the socket cracked ½ inch. This is carbon steel 1050. It is significantly less durable than S2 and the fact that i-RuiQi chose a more expensive steel for its driver set strongly shows that i-RuiQi's main goal was to create a strong, durable and high quality set to manufacture microdrivers. I think it also means that they intend to be around for a long time and if they continue to keep quality as their primary goal, I believe they will. In my web search, I haven't found any other micro screwdriver sets that offer such a wide range of screwdrivers and sizes, and include some very USEFUL accessories (instead of lots of useless "bells and whistles"). Too often these kits offer one or two sizes that you can use and the rest is for applications in places and/or countries you're unlikely to ever find yourself in. I've included some photos of some of the highlights in this set. I don't often write reviews for the products I buy, and I seldom add photos to the reviews I write. The quality of the i-RuiQi driver set is much higher than the price suggests. Of course I would recommend it to anyone dealing with the smallest of screws, nuts and bolts! Rest assured you have found what you are looking for! Rich
