These small eartips are a good replacement for the standard mushroom eartips found in many acoustic headsets. I have a fungal type, after a while it starts to itch because the ribs dig into the ear canal. Because these earplugs use the structure of the outer ear, the part that goes into your ear canal is short and smooth, so there's no irritation! craft or mold for a custom fit; We won't find anything that compares at such a low price. The material is also not the kind that would allow you to heat the inserts to make the final custom shape. The key to success is finding the right size. Three sizes seem to have been made - I started small and they felt wrong, got some medium and it was better but not great, then the large size did the trick. You'll know you're the right size when they should snap into the ear cup and "pop out". BTW, in the 3 pair picture, the earbuds are upside down - the large lobe is up when it fits in the ear, not down. The material is soft and pliable enough to be comfortable, yet stiff enough to snap into the outer ear. The volume is slightly less than mushroom nozzles, and the passage frequency is about the same.
