Part 1 - Nikon Ai Adapter for Sony NEX Because of my positive experience with the K&F Concept Minolta MD Adapter, I later bought their Nikon Ai Adapter as well. As with the Minolta MD adapter, the Nikon AI version has focus beyond infinity. Fortunately, the same solution applies - turn the focus ring back and the horizon becomes crystal clear. The build quality is impeccable, the surface is smooth, without burrs and mechanical traces. The connections on both sides are tight and precise, with no backlash. Additional notes on the Nikon Ai Adapter: - There are no electrical connections, so focusing and zooming must be done manually on the lens. - Unlike the Minolta MD adapter, the lens of the Nikon adapter must be turned counterclockwise until the locking mechanism clicks into place. Tested with a Nikon Micro Nikkor 55m f/2.8 Ai-S MF lens on a Sony a6000 camera ------------- ----------- Part 2. For additional note : Minolta MD adapter for Sony NEX. Technically it's slightly beyond infinity, but the problem is easily solved by turning the focus ring a bit --- Not exactly accurate, but clearly better than nothing. Although very light due to the extensive use of aluminum, the build quality and finish of the adapter is excellent. The connections from the lens side to the camera mount are tight and precise - absolutely free of play. The top of the lens release button is flattened, which makes lens removal very easy and convenient. Other notes: - There are no electrical connections, so focus and zoom must be done manually on the lens itself - Turn the adapter clockwise when mounting the lens. until you hear a click - tested with a Minolta 85mm f/1.7 Rokkor-X MD lens on a Sony a6000 camera.
