Ever since we finished our Reno kitchen 2 years ago I've put off trying to figure out the under cabinet lighting because it was in our last house were wired, so I was picky. about here where there is no good gang box to add them. Finally we settled on our 13 foot bank of cabinets. I used my general purpose tool to cut a path through the closet dividers so I could make one continuous strip and it took maybe 5 minutes for 4 dividers but then I hit these bad guys and voila. I installed a dimmer/switch on one end under the cabinets so you can't see anything but the plug. We moved our outlets under the cabinets during the renovation, so it's not very noticeable anyway. Ideally, in a divided jar, you should have the microwave plug above the stove and tuck it there completely! But we have another plan. Only time will tell how the glue works, but we're thrilled to see our meters light up again, and for $15 I'll just replace it entirely if anything goes wrong.
