Review on ReportServer by Ben Demers

The ability to create dynamic reports without having to know SQL is really useful when someone else has created an initial report but would like to have some changes made or perhaps include more details in certain sections of their original report. This makes my job much easier because I can easily change things around if need be. It also allows me to see exactly how everything will look once it goes live so there aren't surprises down the road. There haven’t been many downsides as far as using this tool. If anything, I wish they had better customer service at times. Sometimes emails get lost in translation (or maybe just never read) which results in needing to call them which isn’t always possible depending on time zones etc. Other than that, no complaints here. We use this tool primarily along side SSRS for our monthly financial reports and we love how simple it keeps things.
