Yes, expensive. But I think it falls into the category if you get what you pay for. Of course, there are cheaper mounts, most of which have pretty good reviews. So what are you paying for with it? Three things I think: 1. Smooth and easy movement. The last thing you want to do is overload an expensive display when adjusting the viewing angle. In most cases you can move the display with two fingers. The tilt mechanism has a 0-degree detent that takes little effort to overcome, but is buttery smooth once released. I believe it goes up to a 20 degree incline down. I'm using a 30 lb display and haven't hovered/drifted out of position yet.2. freedom of movement. You can look at the specs, but I'm getting a full 180 degrees. And as already mentioned for incline. I'm not sure you need much more than that. Also, there is an easy way to adjust the rotation of the display to make sure it's level.3. Ease of installation. The instructions were easy to follow and they even have an app you can download that allows you to plan where your TV will be placed and use AR to preview how it will look in your room. Pretty cool if that's your thing. This bracket is attached to one stud, not two. This is what I needed for the installation (cable and socket near the installation site). But it's also nice that if you've tilted the display at all, you don't have to look at the plethora of hardware and cables behind the display (maybe the fourth reason you like it?). Overall very happy with this mount. I think you will too :)
