I bought this portable Blu-ray player for convenience and because I have fond memories of using the portable DVD player when I was younger. Looking through the different options, this player's description was very detailed as to what photo/video/music formats would work on the SD card. The seller answered questions directly and it was clear that they care a lot about quality. I was informed on both dispatch and arrival to ensure it was fully functional. After testing and using for some time it works great as i was told, and it's exactly what i wanted. The player reads SD cards without having to change files or images the way I arranged them. The remote control has many functions, including bookmarks, and is very convenient. DVDs play flawlessly and silently. The Blu-Ray gets a little louder if you sit close enough to use headphones, but the convenience is worth it. There are only two disadvantages worth mentioning. The remote control is designed for remote use. So if you're using headphones, use the buttons. This means using things like bookmarks on the remote is a bit of a bug. Another downside is that I don't know how much battery power is left at any given time.
