This timer is SO smooth and very accurate. You'll notice that this timer doesn't just stop, slow down, or get louder just before time runs out. It's easy to use. Absolutely silent while driving and emits a polite beep at the end of the time that won't startle you at all. I also like the color visual cue of how much time is left. I use this for classes with timed presentations. But I've also used it to remind my daughter how much time she has left for breakfast or a bath before the school bus arrives. I've also used it to time myself when I'm cleaning my closet within 10 minutes. I know it sounds weird, but it motivates me to clean. I like the little rubber cap. Yes, it's cute and it helps make my timer adorable (if you can call a timer "adorable"). But I'm also very tactile and it just feels good to hold it in my hands.
