Review on O'Neill Men's Basic Skins Sun Shirt with UPF 50+ Protection by Robert Long

This shirt is exactly as described. I have used O'Neill products for many years and the overall quality has almost always been top notch. The shirt adapts to your body, especially when wet. The elastane/nylon material used in the shirt is heavier than the polyester/spandex that O'Neill uses in its "hybrid" shirts. Both types of shirts are said to be slim fit, but the hybrid shirts are definitely looser. Built for heavy use, this shirt is excellent at blocking UV rays when you're in the water for hours. In addition to UV protection, it is dense enough to keep a small body in cooler water. * Please note that it must be hand washed. I use a bar of soap and rinse it out in the sink. I've noticed that some people complain about the ripples on the shirt, which can happen when machine washed. I wouldn't buy a white shirt either as river/seaweed can stain it (and it's not machine washable).
