Review on Senior Yorkshire Terrier Dry Dog Food By Royal Canin For Dogs Over 8 Years Old by Noel Pilla

Designed for Yorkies? - 😢

We currently have 2 aging Yorkies; Spike is 15 years old and Toby is 14 years old. So when I seen this Royal Canin Breed Health Nutrition Yorkshire Terrier 8+ Dry Dog Food offered, I jumped at the chance to try it. We currently use another very popular brand dog food designed for small breed dogs with small mouths. That kibble is about 5 - 6 mm in size. Both our Yorkies have had their share of teeth problems having but a few teeth left. I tried looking for the size of the kibble in this Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier dry dog food, but could not find it listed anywhere in the product description. Once it arrived and I opened it, I found this kibble to be just too large for our Yorkies. I have included a picture to show the difference in size. The product page says the dog food can be softened with warm water. We also give them wet food daily and the bowl of kibble to nibble at. There was a time our Yorkies could have handled this kibble. However, I will not be giving this to our Yorkies; I just don't feel they can handle the size. I will be giving it to my sister to try with her dog.I have no doubt this Royal Canin Breed Health Nutrition Yorkshire Terrier 8+ Dry Dog Food is nutritional and designed specifically for Yorkshire Terriers. If our Yorkies were younger and still had their teeth, I'm sure they would eat it. I give it ⭐⭐⭐ based on the size, the price and the nutritional value.I hope this proves helpful. Thanks for Reading - ✌😉
