You can't adjust the intensity of the backlight, only its duration; since it's so intense, it'll be a distraction if you try to record your ideas by pausing the device at regular intervals. The first time you touch the record button, it will always be paused; in order to begin recording, you will need to push the button again. Even in strong light, without backlighting, the screen is nearly unreadable without transflector technology; therefore, I would like to disable or significantly minimize its use. Since 2022, the firmware has not been updated, so there will be no fixes.
