The LS-P1 supports linear PCM (pulse code modulation) recording at up to 24-bit resolution and sampling rate up to 96 kHz, which greatly exceeds the sound quality of a CD (44.1 kHz/16-bit ). With these bitrate and sample rate settings, you can even burn your own music CD.

Fine-tuning the recording level according to the volume of the sound source allows you to get high-quality recordings with the fullest possible dynamic range. The PEAK indicator lights and level meter on the LCD display help you fine-tune.
Low pass filter. Clean recording of the conversation.
To remove low-frequency background such as air conditioner or projector noise from the recording, set the high-pass filter to 300 Hz. When limited to 100 Hz, background noise will be reduced, but some low-frequency noise will get into the recording.
