Review on Frogg Toggs Toadz Jacket Stone Motorcycle & Powersports for Protective Gear by Johnathan Hegie

When I bought this jacket I really liked it. I originally bought it in a large size (which is what I usually wear) and it turned out to be large. I returned it and bought a medium size and it fit great with room for a few extra layers of clothing if needed. The jacket was a bit stiff at first, but wearing it over a couple of weeks has loosened it up a bit and made it even more comfortable. At that moment I really liked this jacket. Fast forward 3 months from purchase and only 2.5 months of regular wear. The inner lining is frayed in several places (around the bottom two pockets and around the neck where the hood connects - see photos) and I am concerned about the jacket's ability to repel rain in these areas. I took good care of this jacket so I saw no reason why that should happen. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me it was a defect but as I bought it from Revain I need to contact them for a warranty replacement. I don't understand how Revain can be held liable 3 months after purchase for a defect recognized by the manufacturer as a manufacturing defect. For this review, I posted photos of the deployment. I'm disappointed and probably won't be another Frogg Toggs product. Revan is excellent as always.
