Affordable rain jacket that works

I've worn this jacket in the rain a few times including a downpour and never got wet. The phone pocket on the chest is a nice touch. The jacket is small for a large size so it can be worn over other clothing. The hood is particularly large and tends to fall over my forehead; and i have a big head. I usually wear a baseball cap to keep the hood out of my eyes. My only real complaint is that the material is stiff, although it does soften up a bit with use. Certainly not as soft as polyester or…

Pros
  • Double storm flap and zip down rain gutter
Cons
  • Something different

Great shell jacket. Not fed! Oversize

I love this case. Perfect for layering or simply as a raincoat when you're out and about. The jacket is very light and has adjustable straps, thanks to which the lower part of the jacket fits snugly to the body, preventing cold wind or snow from getting inside. Velcro wrist straps ensure the jacket sits perfectly on the wrist. Whether you're wearing layers or snow gloves, you can adjust the straps to the size you want. I just wish the wrist straps were as elastic as the waist straps, making…

I like it! on Motorcycle & Powersports

I've only had this jacket for a month so I've only worn it a handful of times. So far, its waterproof claims have been confirmed. The outer shell appears to be durable and highly water-repellent; The inner lining, where I suspect the waterproof membrane, doesn't seem to be as abrasion resistant as the outer shell. The material is almost hard, not soft and silent. It fits great (I'm 6'3" about 220# and I usually wear a size plus or 17/37; arms are long enough for me) and I think it suits me. I…

Great jacket but badly worn after two months

When I bought this jacket I really liked it. I originally bought it in a large size (which is what I usually wear) and it turned out to be large. I returned it and bought a medium size and it fit great with room for a few extra layers of clothing if needed. The jacket was a bit stiff at first, but wearing it over a couple of weeks has loosened it up a bit and made it even more comfortable. At that moment I really liked this jacket. Fast forward 3 months from purchase and only 2.5 months of…

Frogg Toggs throws him out of the park. AGAIN!

I can't wait for this jacket to get wet! The style and fit are great. I used to wear the Frogg Toggs base jacket whitewater rafting in the Grand Canyon and it worked great, but I decided to switch to this style for my next trip. I've had other expensive shells made of very hard material that crackle loudly with every movement, but not this one. The material, although more durable than the base model, does not impede movement and is exactly what I was looking for. The hood has plenty of room so…

  • Easy access hand pockets
