Review on Frogg Toggs Toadz Jacket Stone Motorcycle & Powersports for Protective Gear by Jessie Duhon

Frogg Toggs throws him out of the park. AGAIN!

I can't wait for this jacket to get wet! The style and fit are great. I used to wear the Frogg Toggs base jacket whitewater rafting in the Grand Canyon and it worked great, but I decided to switch to this style for my next trip. I've had other expensive shells made of very hard material that crackle loudly with every movement, but not this one. The material, although more durable than the base model, does not impede movement and is exactly what I was looking for. The hood has plenty of room so you can fit a helmet underneath if needed. The zipper is completely closed, so nothing should leak. Hood, cuffs and hem can be pulled down to prevent water ingress. Pockets are a great addition to this updated style, and the handles are easy to grab with or without gloves. Haven't tested it yet, but I assume this model will have the same breathability as the base model, which is fine. I wore the base model on a raft in June while running through the rapids and it was never hot, just nice and dry. I am a 5ft 6 inch female and 175lbs and bought the medium. The fit gives me enough room to wear layers underneath, but I don't feel like it's too big. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone as an all season jacket.
