I've only had this jacket for a month so I've only worn it a handful of times. So far, its waterproof claims have been confirmed. The outer shell appears to be durable and highly water-repellent; The inner lining, where I suspect the waterproof membrane, doesn't seem to be as abrasion resistant as the outer shell. The material is almost hard, not soft and silent. It fits great (I'm 6'3" about 220# and I usually wear a size plus or 17/37; arms are long enough for me) and I think it suits me. I could easily wear a sweater or another Wear a layer underneath without feeling constricted.The construction seems pretty solid with good quality zips, fasteners and buttons.I appreciate the external chest pocket but wish the jacket had a hook or loop to hang it when I'm not at home. This is a waist length jacket, not a parka, just what I wanted, so be aware it doesn't cover the buttocks. I like it! I've added photos so you can see how close it is.This color looks more like an orange-red on my computer but it's actually Red Raider or CornHusker Red not Sooner Crimson.I paid $34.44 with free shipping and thought it was pretty cheap for a G good rain / wind quality.
