These speakers are fantastic. I would recommend going the extra mile and buying a top speaker as well. With the way these speakers are built, you really should be getting the entire 9000 package from the final technology, including Front, Center, Rear. It's expensive to make, but you only live once, and if you want theater quality in your home, this is for you. You can't use these speakers on a cheap surround receiver. You spend over $1,500 on the right receiver to make this speaker work properly. I used a Yamaha 3080 receiver and it cost me £2000. With this kit the subwoofer is not required as it already has 2 passive radiators and a subwoofer in the speaker. Definitely a lot of base. Big investment here, but if you want crazy theatrical sound in your home so you don't have to go to the cinema anymore, this is the right choice.
