Below is my original review. Update below in 3 days. Two problems. . Firstly, if your dog is like most dogs and scratches the collar, he will surely hit the on/off button and you can guarantee that his collar will be flashing strobe lights around the house while you try to sleep. . Second, it was 4 days after the return date and it doesn't work properly when turning on and off and cycling through various functions. . Very sad because many friends liked it and now I have to buy a new one from another seller. So 2 days after writing this review I was contacted by the seller who said they were disappointed that I was having these issues and offered to send me a brand new one. I said I didn't expect this, but I'll grab a new one and try again. The next day I get a notification from Revain that I'm also getting a refund and a very personal email response from Peter, the owner of the company, with some very interesting ideas they are working on for this product. One is that dogs might turn on them someday and are working on a fix and have tried quite a few times now. I learned that this particular company is genuinely trying to create the best product in the industry and is actively working on customer issues and feedback. This alone is the number one reason I will continue to buy their products. No product is perfect, flawless or indestructible, but at least they know it and are constantly trying to get better.
