In short, for under $100 this is a 5 star table; for >$100 it's a four star table. I like the movable shelves, the solid construction, and the color/aesthetics. However, it has some drawbacks in terms of keyboard tray and PC stand. Read on for more information. Construction: Fairly strong powder coated metal legs, chipboard table and shelves with a very nice laminated finish. Judging by the photos I thought the shelves were metal but that's the same material as the table. I was very impressed with the build quality, especially at this price point. This table wobbles a bit from side to side but I don't notice it while playing. Assembly: Pretty easy. There are several different fasteners and cam bolts, but they all fit together with ease. Tip: Be very careful to use the location of the screw holes in the instructions as a guide, as the parts of this assembly are not symmetrical and the instructions do not explicitly state this. Movable Side Shelves: They are well aligned with the surface. Table. I really like this feature and there are lockable thumbscrews that make it easy to move around. I use them on the top levels. Each shelf uses three "tiers" of the workbench, so there aren't many modular options, but it's still a nice feature. I measured the space occupied by my 24 inch monitor. It's probably possible to have two screens with just a "wooden" center table and three screens with side shelves added on top. They are definitely stable enough to feel comfortable enough. I do it. PC Shelf: I have a Fractal Design Define Mini C (micro ATC tower) and this is the largest PC case I would recommend putting on this desk if you want a shelf over a PC tower - Want to use shelf as shown in the pictures. Show. And it's by no means a big body. Be sure to compare your computer to the dimensions of this case: 399 x 210 x 399 mm (L x W x H). I also removed the little "guardrail" so I could pull my computer forward, no big deal. Keyboard Tray: This is my biggest complaint. The table support bar consumes the height this tray can hold. At 1.5 inches, my keyboard needs to lay flat (not sit) and neither my full-size nor compact mouse needs to fit if I want to slide into the tray. It's only wide enough for a full-size keyboard, or like I did, and a keyboard without a number pad to use the mouse on the cropped bottom bar for only casual use. I play on the tabletop. I also prefer keyboard trays that have a solid "notch" to hold the tray in the "extended" position, this one hardly does. Final Thoughts: I would use this table again and recommend it to anyone in this price range. If you're really serious about mounting a larger computer or mouse on a keyboard tray, I would suggest you go ahead.
