Locked pins should loosen and fall apart.

I use other brands and thought they were all the same. I do not think so. The teeth are not firmly interlocked and somehow diverge when walking the dog. At first I thought I might have missed 1/2 prong and misplaced it, but it wasn't. My dog's collar broke off several times. And yes, I put it back on, but it's also a shock when it happens.
