Review on ๐ŸŽฎ HyperX Armada 25: 24.5-Inch FHD Gaming Monitor with 240Hz, G-SYNC, and 1ms Response Time by John Kissamitakis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great video, ultra-fast response time, great flexibility with desktop mount

I was very surprised when the monitor and desk mount arrived at how heavy and big the box was. My immediate concern was that the overall weight of the lightweight table I was planning to use might tip over, but luckily that wasn't a problem. The monitor itself isn't heavy; Most of the weight comes from the mount and stand. The monitor looks fantastic - the 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make this monitor quite desirable. To be honest, my old eyes have a hard time discerning the difference between 120Hz and 240Hz. However, the fast response time is very noticeable in a fast game (COD). Speaking of COD, they offer some specialized in-game items that are basically HyperX "stickersโ€ on your weapon, an emblem, and a player card (see product description). The arm and stand attach easily to the monitor and are very well made. It works with most 75mm and 100mm VESA settings, so it can be used with other compatible monitors. You can purchase additional monitor mounts and it supports up to 4. You can also position the monitor in any position including landscape or portrait. The monitor itself supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. Hyper-X offers a 27-inch monitor for about $50 more ($499 at the time of writing this review) at 2560 x 1440 but with a lower refresh rate (165Hz). That's why I think this monitor is currently overpriced, but that doesn't detract from the quality. I checked the monitor for hacks and carefully checked for anomalies or dead pixels, but found nothing. Overall, I would recommend this 24.5" or 27" Hyper-X monitor. If anything changes soon I will update my review accordingly.
