My sports car is 17 years old and has only driven 53,000 miles. The windshield and dashboard are steeply sloped. I've tried half a dozen over the years, some with suction and others with vent clips. My goal is to have good visibility so it has to be under the dash so nothing breaks in the vents (unfortunately this happened). I think this is the answer to leaving my GPS on all the time. I've been testing it since early September. What I like: - It's very customizable. That way I can stick it to the glass (stick better) and still keep it under the dash for good visibility. My GPS does not fall off. It bounces a bit but I have the bottom part on the dash so it's minimal. This allows me to position it along the tooling in my car so it's like a part of the car. What I don't like: - It bounces a bit as mentioned, but I stretched it all the way so I can't fault it too much. In addition, GPS did not fall. And it's not too distracting when using GPS. So far so good, I'll have to wait a few seasons to see how the suction cup holds up, but I use tricks like decoction and using some petroleum jelly to make me believe in effectiveness. Future.
