Review on πŸŽ’ Flight Laptop Backpack from eBags, Ideal for Professional Use by Cheryl Griffin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

For the right user, this could be the case.

I really liked the eBags Weekender based on the Revain description and the generally positive reviews. However, when I received and tested it, I found some disadvantages. First, let's talk about the positive aspects. It's well designed, easy to carry over the shoulder and has plenty of storage space for valuables and other accessories. I'll talk about this being a double-edged sword in a minute, but for now we'll note that as a positive trait. It's also nice to have a bag that lays flat when laid down. My favorite hiking bag so far has been the eggshell-style Swiss Gear, which always fell forward when I said it to the ground. Another really nice feature is that it's specially designed to make it easier when you're traveling with headphones. There's a handy pocket near the top so you can take out your headphones when you're in an airplane seat. However, this bag is another case where too much variety is bad. Almost too many compartments requiring too many zipper movements and too many opportunities to lose the accessories you stuff into every pocket that seems accessible at the time. After only a few days of use, I was frustrated that I could never remember which compartment held the tool or accessory I was looking for. In general, go in with your eyes open. For the right person, this bag can be a blessing, but for someone comfortable with the Swiss Gear backpack, often sold at warehouse clubs for $40 or less, this eBags backpack is a frustrating exercise in overkill.
