Quality SUP for less than $240!

It's pretty obvious that there are only a few surfboard manufacturers in China making SUPs for pretty much every brand. Apparently, some of them know what they're doing, and there are those who clearly don't. This Kingdely branded board comes from someone who does. If you take away the simple graphics, the details, features, and design are so similar that they're almost indistinguishable from the most popular brands of boards that cost five times as much. Compare to Red Paddle Co, Bluefin and Bodyglove. We Love: Carbon fiber paddle with injection molded blade (blade flexes to give you the correct 10 degree angle in the water, but won't crack or break if you accidentally step on it or crush it with a car door on dry land) - The recommended pump pressure is 15psi (we have found that 12psi is perfectly fine in warm water all day. Cold water will rise to 15psi or lock out with air after the first 30 minutes). We have a board of the exact same design that is rated for 20+ psi. - Not too easy. This SUP has the perfect balance between durability and portability. The pump has a practical air outlet. This SUP doesn't want to deflate on its own. which is very good if it ever leaks into the water. Wear a life jacket just in case. - Fins can be replaced with strong, tangle-free toggle closures. - Simple, subtle graphics that won't hurt your eyes. Lots of fun and builds core muscles faster than other inflated SUP yachts. - The deluxe strap has the right length, hinges and padding to make it useful and comfortable all day long. - The travel bag has wheels. These boards will do it any distance, there and back. let me repeat. The holdall has wheels What we don't like: - Paying $800 for our first SUP from a top brand, only to find that the quality and features of this SUP are EXACTLY the same, made in the same factory. oh emptied boards). - Kingdely does not include a ramp at the tail/tail of the board to aid in pirouette - despite the carbon fiber composite handle and grip, the paddle is still quite heavy due to the bulletproof plastic blade. CG is low in the bottom third - High hook flex saps power at the start of each stroke with noticeable wobble/wobble in the water - This board is so good we'd like to use it in rougher water - Class 3 rapids maybe. But not without replacing the cable with a quick release.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are nuances
