The brush is similar to the range of brushes I've seen at places like Bed, Bath and Beyond, except they were significantly cheaper. In any case, the big problem with this brush is that it needs to be thoroughly dried immediately after each use. A week after hanging it in the shower, mold started to grow on the brush. The second problem is that untreated wood swells and becomes quite rough. It is very uncomfortable to use and I had to wipe it down several times with a scouring pad and mineral oil. I wish I had saved the packaging so I could send it back. I gave it 2 stars because the brush I bought previously was actually worse and once I've oiled and smoothed it out it's good for a use or two. The bristles are good.
