Review on KingArt PRO Soft Core Collection Pencil Set: 72 Unique Colors - Complete 72 Piece Set by Wendy Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Creamy, well shaded, does not crumble and does not break even with strong pressure.

I'll admit I'm a total crayon snobby. My favorites are the Caran d'Ache Pablo and Faber Castell Polychromos BUT a large set of either will cost you a small fortune. If you're just learning to use crayons or trying them out and not sure if you like them, you'll be disgusted to see your money grinding in a pencil sharpener. There are a lot of really cheap brands out there that are downright terrible. But they say they are for professional artists and I believe in that. They are very creamy and smooth, they blend well. They do not crumble even under strong pressure and sharpen well. I can't say the most about Prismacolors. I like them a lot and the colors are beautiful. The pen end (cap) is the same color as the pen stem. Elegant matt black body. Most pencils are named after common colors as opposed to pigment-based names. I will use them for my next colored pencil drawing. I hope individual colors are available from stock.
