Review on πŸ’₯ Powernail PowerPalm Floor Nailer - Palm001 by Dusty Oner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works very well. A well made tool. I am very impressed!

Excellent Nailer! It was actually smaller than I expected after seeing pictures online which is a bonus! Okay, right out of the box the inner piston stuck slightly and blew air out just like the previous review said, but it's just a production lube for protection. Block from rust and time on the shelf until sold. With the air line *disconnected*, take the nailer and smack it against the palm of your hand until you hear an internal *click*. It is a freely moving piston mechanism. That's all! Did! Now it's ready to rumble when you reconnect the airline. this is NOT A DEFECT. it is a sign of tight manufacturing tolerances, factory-supplied grease and therefore quality! I know this because I never buy tool warranties and therefore repair all my tools when they need repairing. Using a nailer was my dream. There appears to be a magnetic button on the side of the rail, protruding from the front of the device. This came in handy as you gently push the nail in until you feel the magnet grab it. I would suggest that you hold the nail with your fingertips and to the side (not pointing at your hand!) and point the gun away from people in case you accidentally go too far and hit the pressure-activated hammer mechanism, which then fires. a nail with a clip and a gun. I tested the nail gun as a kid with a new toy and it's really good at driving a nail in, and even slowly, as the mechanism is very delicate. I have no problem learning, but I would recommend everyone to donate 20 spikes to play with before actual use so you can get a feel for it. You don't have to press hard, and I would suggest driving the hammer slowly and then fast and hard until you get to grips with the tool. My air hose was set to minimum and I put 3 drops of air tool oil in it (starter included. I use 1-1/4" x 18 gauge L-studs for flooring. I think any brand will work with it as long as it's a gauge of 16 or 18. Also, I suspect you can hammer in ground staples with a 1/4" slot and a percussion mechanism. I don't have it handy, but maybe someone can test the idea? :) My overall opinion is very high on the Satisfaction and quality of the tool. It's a bit pricey but so far I'm happy with what I paid and what I currently have.I actually bought this to make stranded bamboo tongue and groove for a client.den floor at a diagonal angle of 45Β°, and so there will be many occasions where a normal nailer cannot reach the wall for nailing at the beginning and end, so this nailer is used for the narrow places b required that a large tool cannot achieve. I hope this review helps people, and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask me about them.
