Yes, these headphones are designed to keep sweat out of your ears. I bought these to replace the yellow sport in-ear headphones that came with my old walkman cassette/radio. With them, I had to take them out from time to time and wipe the sweat. No problem with these new ones. However. I am disappointed in the sound quality. I think that's because the in-ear is bigger than before - it doesn't go as far into my ear as the old model did. And they hurt! After about half an hour my ears hurt so much that I have to give them up. The folding design and sweat guard aren't enough to justify the discomfort and lack of sound quality. I would not buy them again and advise other buyers to look elsewhere. I'm training for a half marathon and I'm still trying to find the perfect pair of training headphones!
