Review on Organic Balancing Witch Hazel Facial Toner by Brittanie's Thyme: 4 oz, Peppermint & Sweet Orange Oils for a Relieved and Calm Complexion by Sara Bertrand

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a great pick-me-up, but with a few downsides for me.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I really like this toner/astringent for what it does. I have sensitive skin and rosacea, but I still crave that sparkling clean feeling when I use a toner after cleansing. It hibernates the pores, albeit for a short time, and refreshes the whole face! Many of these products feel "stingy" on sensitive facial skin, but this one is comfortable and surprisingly gentle. I love witch hazel in my toners, so this is the perfect combination for keeping my super oily skin oil-free, if only for a while. It also has omegas which I've never heard of using omegas on skin but maybe I don't read the labels very well but it sounds good. I take it internally, every day. This is a very refreshing product, but there are a few downsides for me. 1- I don't like the smell at all. It smells like alcohol to me. (Best word I can think of.) It might sound crazy, but the combination of ingredients doesn't smell very good together at all. It's not a problem for me if a product works, I just notice it. I know witch hazel isn't super, super nice, but for me it's more of a combination scent. 2 - glass bottle. I would rather have this product in a plastic container than in a glass. It's partly the mother in me, but partly bad luck. In the bathroom, things can fall off the shelf and break. It's not uncommon, and then your money goes down the drain. 3- no tons of products for everyday use. It's okay, but I think a bigger plastic bottle will appeal to more buyers. I would be I would buy it again if so. 4 - it drips very slowly. You have to shake it to really get the product. I'm used to products that flow fairly freely. Yes, any extreme is not good, just notice it. Here you fight a little for your face :). But again, the product itself is very good, even for sensitive skin, and doesn't smell for long after application. Some people like the smell, it's a matter of personal opinion. Would I personally buy it again? Probably not. Eventually he'll be on the floor with all his little hands that I have. I give it an average rating. Honestly I would rate it 3.25 stars. I consider the total cost - price/size/quality of the product as well as other things mentioned above. If you agree on the cost for the size, ignore the smell or the bottle versus plastic, this could be your IT product. It definitely cleans well, but I need a large amount so it doesn't last as long as my other toners. While I like the refreshing sense of cleanliness, I don't deny it! And organic is always a plus! You can form your own opinion about these guys based on the information provided above. I hope my review was helpful! :)
