Review on Amazfit GTR 3 Smart Watch, Thunderstorm Black by Ada Lech (Ada Lech) ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

This is my second "smart" watch, before them there were watches of the same company, a few years old, model amazfit bit. A bit tired, I decided to take new ones. Immediately did not like the amoled screen. It is certainly juicier, brighter, but in order to see something, you need to press a button or pull your hand correctly and the screen goes out all the time, at the wrong moment. The Bip has a reflex screen, it does not need a backlight, it's a pity that the technology has not taken root, but I'm slowly getting used to it. Batteries with minimal use, with all auto measurements turned off and minimal training, lasted exactly three weeks. Bip lasted about one and a half times longer with this use. The compass, compared to even older Casio watches, shows only the true pole without taking into account the magnetic declination and is not accurate. The altimeter shows the correct altitude difference, with the latest ate, the current altitude can be set manually or by GPS. You can measure the height of a hill or a house for example. The calorie count takes into account the change in height. Atmospheric pressure in millimeters. S does not show, maybe they will add it someday, and you can get used to it. The wheel to control the screen did not take root for me, it’s not convenient, it’s more convenient for me in the old fashioned way with my finger. The watch has a swimming training mode, which means that it should not lie about the heartbeat when the hand sweats like in Bip. It is not convenient to measure oxygen in the blood, you need to freeze and not move and lie if there are light sources nearby or the strap is tightened badly. You can install third-party applications, for example, there is a smart home control, but there are very few of them so far. In general, for its price and for autonomy, a good watch. I hope that third-party developers will make useful applications and ates will fix the shortcomings.

Pros
  • In general, nothing special. There are a lot of training modes, perhaps for sports people the watch will be a useful purchase, but I can’t play sports, so the review is probably not complete. I only use them for walking - counting steps, reading messages from various instant messengers and applications (which I added to the white list), of course, and like clockwork
Cons
  • Many, but not so significant
