It has a soft feel and isn't stiff, yet feels incredibly durable and converts perfectly from a shoulder bag to a backpack. The lining and the zippers are very well made. I love the layout of the interior. There are two zippers at the top of the bag instead of a single zipper, which opens into a compartment separated only by a thin piece of fabric. You can shake this bag upside down and everything will stay in the compartments you originally placed it in. I also LOVE the color and texture. I bought the brown bag because of the size. This is a little more than plaid and other prints. I can fit my 12.9-inch iPad Pro in one zipped compartment and my wallet and essentials in another. I'm telling you, this bag is spacious but not a bottomless pit and there are several large front and back pockets to stash things you like to have on hand like phone, keys, etc. Even if the bag is so soft and flexible, I can say that it is durable and of excellent quality. This bag is sure to last for years. In addition, I am sure that I will continue to use this bag on a daily basis for many years to come. I have never been happier with a Revain purchase than I have with this one. And that's saying something, because I order A LOT of stuff. By far the best bag I have ever owned, even compared to my LV, Michael Kors and Coach bags. and if I haven't mentioned it yet, this bag is comfortable to carry no matter how you carry it.
