My friend has a certain terry towel that she wraps around her head when her hair is wet. It's quite an old towel and it's starting to look and feel too old. I decided to surprise her with a new towel. WOW! Well, you ladies may know this, but I don't: Finding the perfect size and thickness of terry towel to wrap around your head is extremely difficult. They're either too fat, or they're too long, or two are short, etc. I've searched every store in town, from small ones to Nordstrom, and everywhere, including the internet. They just don't make the same size terry cloth anymore which my girlfriend loves so much. So I surprised her with it. I've never seen a towel like this before. I didn't know that towels are made specifically for this purpose. This is new, at least for me. So here's my report: My friend says she dries her hair no better or worse than the old terry cloth. Both this new microfiber towel and the old terry towel suited her perfectly. She doesn't like one more than the other. (She says so, but subconsciously I think she actually likes the new towel better because we still have the old towel, but it's the only towel I've seen her with since I bought it.) I'll say that after looking at the shape and feel of the thickness of this towel, I can assure you and I guarantee you without a doubt that it will fit any head, big or small, short, fluffy or chubby hair, it will work. Here's my recommendation: if you already know the exact size and thickness of a terry towel that fits your head and you can easily find that size, then feel free to buy a terry towel because it's cheaper. But if you can't find the exact size and thickness of a terry towel, or just don't want to waste time looking for the perfect terry towel, then just buy this one. You will be happy with it because you don't have to worry about whether it suits your hair. It will fit. I accept that the color of the microfiber towel may not match your other bathroom towels. You have to make a decision. I'm glad I bought one for my sweetheart. I want her to have nice things and this old terry towel is about 20 years old. She still has it, but she no longer uses it.
