My 3 year old has almost every garbage truck toy and this is one of his favorite toys. There aren't many side-loading garbage truck toys on the market, so that's a big selling point. He didn't notice that I didn't put batteries in it. It comes with a trash can that you attach to a hook on your arm and you use the yellow handle to move the trash can to the top of the truck to eject it. into the hole. The doors at the back of the truck open and the green part of the truck lifts up for easy unloading. It would be nice if we could buy more bins to go with this bin truck but my son managed to get the brother bins to work just fine. We have many of these and they are sold separately. EDIT TO ADD: I just added the batteries and it's really cool. The sounds aren't obnoxious and actually make noise depending on how you move it. It beeps when reversing, makes engine noises when driving forwards, squeaks when you raise your hand, and makes noises when you lower it.
