They appear to be real but much thinner rubber compound on the hose and hose clamps compared to the original. Note that they are NOT too tight, they are a bit slippery like polished metal on a polished rubber hose. Be sure to use rubberized sealant on the tank/water pump outlet neck and yoke as in the original application. Our washing machine drain hose after installation and 5 loads later, a false security, I stopped checking for leaks. And the sash slipped off and 40 gallons of water spilled out, it was shocking. Luckily our sink is in a pit, but in a normal situation this can lead to disaster. If in doubt, hire a professional. I fix all my shit, do it myself, but it really got on my nerves. Much luck.!
