I bought this for my Midea portable washing machine after the original hose started leaking. When looking for a replacement hose, this particular one kept popping up, so I bought it. I was skeptical when it arrived because it was smaller than the original tube. Installation was harder than I expected, but now, after at least 50 downloads, everything is working like clockwork.

The item was of good quality but a little shorter than the original. The problem was that it didn't seem to let the drum move freely enough, throwing it off balance. After that I couldn't balance the washing machine and LG was enough for me and I ditched the whole block in favor of the classic Speed Queen and now life is beautiful and there are no more LG devices for me. Although the delivery was fast.

So fitting the part is pretty easy I just recommend you get some sealant too or it will bounce off after a few cycles. As others have said, look for the arrow at the end of the hose so you know the orientation. My only complaint is that it takes about a week for a part to ship, even with Prime, so plan accordingly.

They appear to be real but much thinner rubber compound on the hose and hose clamps compared to the original. Note that they are NOT too tight, they are a bit slippery like polished metal on a polished rubber hose. I have an LG top loader. This is easy to fix. However, as another reviewer mentioned, you should attach the hose with the arrow pointing toward the pump. Whoever fitted the original hose before me didn't, which explains why it was so difficult to remove. Glue must be used.
