There are actually many ways to fold this phone for both horizontal and vertical viewing (some are sturdier than others). However, the methods shown with the product are poorly presented and in fact not that easy to perform and initially strong (the model I received does not have a sufficiently strong locking magnet). Some extensive experimentation will reveal other folding methods that appear to be better (time will tell when body stiffness decreases). The rest of the case looks good and looks well made (which will hopefully last longer). The magnetic connection of the wrapped phone case to the foldable case is nice / makes it easy to remove the phone for a lighter / more minimalist use. BEWARE the charging hole on the wrapped phone case is very small / only compatible with Apple charger (other aftermarket charger plugs may be too big to fit through and charge properly!).
