As described in other reviews. This portable bidet is solidly built. It looks like the construction is made of stainless steel and brass. It works as expected. the same concept as the dish dispenser in the kitchen sink. As with all those manual bidets. You need to adjust the valve lever when using the sprayer. Open the lever too far and you'll get a water enema! When you're done I would suggest closing the lever. My plumbing is CPVC and I decided to replace the old rotary valve and use a better quality 1/4 turn Sharkbite check valve. The installation went super fast. I had to cut off the old compression ring on the pipe as the length of the pipe was sufficient. Once that was done installing the bidet was easy and straight forward, making sure to use the included teflon tape on all threaded connections.
