Review on EWH-01 Electric Water Heater Maintenance Kit, Complete with Two 240V Water Heater Thermostats and Elements - 4500W (3500W@208V), Universal Type Replacement Parts for Water Heaters by Michael Dixon

Water heaters come with a note on the lid 'Water heaters will eventually leak - Water leaks can damage the room, take precautions'. My 24 year old State Industries water heater burned out a heating element after it kicked the overheat protection (ECO) device. The manufacturer did not provide any information on spare parts and stated that it would recommend buying a new one. Disposal of the old/installation of the new unit, the inconvenience of the new unit is very uncomfortable for the villagers! My unit hasn't leaked so this is a reasonable repair kit. Removing the old components and replacing them with new thermostats/heaters was no problem. (Use Youtube if you need more instructions.) The price was great, shipping was fast and the parts looked nice (would have preferred "double bottom heating element - but I'm fine for the price"). Filled the tank, turned the power back on and in 45 minutes I had plenty of hot water - and no leaks in a month. PLEASE BE SAFE when doing electrical work on water heaters!
