Cheap but good replacement parts
This is a cast steel flywheel. not cast iron. Steel wears out better than iron. It's not for drag racing or over 7000rpm. Very similar to original VW stuff. According to EMPI, the flywheels are balanced. We are racers and advise if you are building a competition engine that the crank and flywheel are balanced together. You can fabricate a pre-balanced replacement flywheel for street use.
