I've had an Audiotechnica M50x for a few years now and the stock pads really ruined my experience. I first tried the HM5 interchangeable ear pads and while they offer comfort in the headphones, they completely change the sound signature, pitching it up and making it sound really tinny. (My theory is that the earpads didn't have as thick a mesh to reduce the treble. So I tried these replacement earpads, if they didn't work I would throw the m50x away forever. I immediately noticed that the thick Mesh screen and the sound signature haven't changed much The comfort of these HM5 pads is blown out the window The only thing left to check is the durability of the pads (Will be updated)
