Very sophisticated design. All parts that need to be assembled are bonded metal to metal, minimizing the chance of ripping wood with screws. Very easy assembly and tools were provided. The only problem was turning the seat all the way down, it blocked the metal-to-metal contact and took a lot of effort to unlock. On final unlocking I placed felt contacts between the bottom of the seat and the metal plates of the pivot rod to prevent jamming and now it works fine. You need to get a pillow as it is a hard wooden surface.
