For the past several years, my dog Sammy has suffered from year-round grass/weed allergies, which is a problem when your dog needs to go outside several times a day to go about his business. I've tried allergy shots, topical medications, specialty shampoos, etc. with no improvement. $30 shots from the vet worked, but only for a few weeks. This way is prohibitively expensive. After reading a few reviews from unbiased testing agencies, I switched to the Blue Buffalo Lamb/Grain Free Rice recipe. It's been a few months, but I'm seeing a definite improvement. Since then, Sammy hasn't chewed or licked his feet all night ( which would drive me crazy). Him Blue Buffalo, I've fed him Science Diet and tried other "premium" dog foods from the pet store, but he didn't seem to be very enthusiastic about his food. He LOVES this Blue Buffalo recipe and will eat it as soon as it's available I'll admit it has a really nice meaty smell, unlike most other dog foods I've tried. Yes, this food isn't cheap, but Sammy is a member of our family and I wouldn't fucking feed him more food than any other family member. If Blue Buffalo doesn't change this recipe, hopefully I'll be Sammy's customer for the rest of my life. PS Most Petco and Petsmart stores in my area no longer have 11 pound bags, so I'll only be buying from Revain from now on. I prefer an 11 pound bag because dog food can get "stale" over time so I don't like buying a 20-40 pound bag. at once. PSS Revain, today my delivery was not made by USPS or Fedex but by an independent contractor in an unmarked white van. The delivery guy gave me goosebumps and living in the country I don't like that kind of delivery at all (thank god for my scary Rottweilers and Dobermans). I hate that Revain has taken this approach now. I know my postman and the regular Fedex/UPS staff. Now you don't know who will show up at your door.
