These headphones have everything a music lover needs in a pair of beautiful cases. First, their sound reproduces what the artist and engineer wanted you to share with them. The Samson SR850 semi-open studio reference headphones are accurate below without the coloring they offer. The middle is only slightly reserved until chopped for about 50 hours. The high frequencies are bright and relative to the rest of the soundstage. For some reason, there still seems to be an open discussion about whether or not to burn headphones. Yes, in my experience they need to be broken in. I know these headphones perform better than my most expensive headphones after almost 70 hours of use! Good music and Hi-Fi for everyone. For this price, everyone can enjoy good music the way it was meant to be played. I take my hat off to this company and their philosophy.
